Update Your Floors With Raw Or Prefinished Hardwood,
Cork Or Bamboo And Restore Your Pride In Your Home!
Your home should give you the pride of ownership you
deserve, not the annoying feeling of ‘putting up with’
some tired or worn out flooring. Maybe your carpet is
old and has done it’s time or it just looks out of date.
Or worse yet,
maybe someone else had your floors installed and they display their
taste, not yours. You almost feel that you’re living in
someone else’s house, not your own!
The
old floors may be hitting you twice, making you ‘look at the
ugly’ every day, and then making you pay for it in the form
of lower house value!
You don’t need to put up with this – at less of a cost than you might
think, you can have real hardwood all around you! Give us a
call or fill out the form at the top of this page, and we’ll
start you on the road right away to get the beauty and
peaceful inner feeling you can only get from gorgeous wood
flooring that shows your taste, installed professionally and
artistically by master craftsmen!
Let Us
Introduce Ourselves…
My name is Kevin Kennedy of KBS Customs. We
have been making floors in homes in the Framingham area
beautiful for
years. We’ve installed tens of thousands of square feet of
custom hardwood flooring for local homeowners, general
contractors, and high end showrooms in the city and suburbs.
You can have any style of wood, either raw or prefinished,
that’s out there, and there are more than most people
realize!
Prefinished hardwood comes in
more variations than you may imagine.
You can get wide plank cherry, high gloss oak, micro beveled
edge or square edge, preformed artistic medallions and
engineered products that are dimensionally stable enough to
go even in basement rooms.
You can enjoy the uniqueness
of hand scraped bamboo or cork too. The special qualities
that each of these offer will not only add to your enjoyment
of your home but increase your property value too.
Whatever look you want, there is a way
to achieve it now. KBS Customs team of installers can
transform your home promptly and efficiently. From
experience, we’ve learned how to make the process of
remodeling with hardwood go as smooth and trouble free for our clients
as id humanly possible.
In the end, you have to decide for yourself, but
consider a few things:
To Make
The Process Go Smoother
When you call or fill out the form above, we’ll set a time with you to look at the
installation. If you are already working with an architect
or designer, we can consult with them directly to get plans
or blueprints.
If not, we can help you create a layout and
design with your chosen flooring that will make the room
look great. Sometimes, looking at a photo of
a previous installation or a pattern we’ve done for someone
else can give you new design ideas for your home.
We know all the leading wood dealers showrooms in the area
and get you the right product at a reasonable cost. On our
initial estimate, we measure for order amounts so you will
know how much to buy. If we order it for you, we may even be
able to save you money over the retail price in some cases.
We put our hardwood quotes in writing,
usually in email so you can
get your information quickly. You won’t have to wait a long
time to get pricing and answers.
When the time comes for the
work to be done, we’ll take proper measure to show respect
for your home, including using drop cloths to protect
surfaces and making sure we clean up the work site each day.
Remodeling always has an element of dust and we try to
minimize it for your convenience, and again, to show respect for
your home and family.
Prefinished wood is ready to walk on the same day
it’s installed, whereas raw hardwood needs
several more days to sand, stain and finish.
During the job, we keep in touch with you on details. Good
communication as your project goes along will help you
manage what you want and help us know what you prefer. Some
steps may need your input, and that way, the finished
product will be your job as well as ours!
Unfortunately remodeling
always involves some stress and inconvenience but we will bend over backwards to make it as smooth as possible.
Special Situation: I Got A Low Hardwood Installation Price From A
‘Handyman/Brother-In-Law/Chain Store Installer? Should I Go
For The Deal?
While a low price is always tempting it's important to keep
in mind that hardwood installation is part building science and part art.
It takes time to learn good solid techniques and time to
develop the skill so the finished product looks good. If
someone spends most of his days on demolition or plumbing or
anything else but wood work, how good will he be when it’s
time to install your hardwood? That is often the case with
handymen and chain store installers.
Our hardwood installers are specialists, and it shows.
Handymen often work on apartments and rental properties, and
the level of their work may be OK in that setting. So they
can honestly say they have experience….but…..We consistently
work for the best in the field; high end remodelers and
demanding homeowners that don’t put up with second rate
work. When you hire us you will get the very best in
hardwood installation.
Feel free to see our work and speak to our clients, the
quality is second to none.
We routinely get calls from people who have had bargain
basement
hardwood installers commit their crimes against peoples
floors. Usually they ask: “Can you fix this”? And
unfortunately, the answer is almost always ‘no, we can’t…if
the first line of wood is installed crooked, all the other
lines will be crooked as well.’ And you can’t take out.
So give your home the update it needs with the installation
of any type of hardwood flooring that suits your taste! Give
us a call or fill out the form now. |
